Our Needs,
and How You Can Help
Public Awareness
Educating the public about pregnancy, abortion, and the related issues will help people understand the problems we face today. It may also deter someone from getting into a crisis pregnancy. Those familiar with Birthright's services can be ambassadors for Birthright, letting someone in need know there is pregnancy assistance in Harford County. Could you provide our literature at your place of business, church, or social club? Speakers are available to come to your organization or club. Please contact the office for more information.
Financial Assistance
Birthright is supported solely by individuals and a few local churches. We receive no State or Federal money. Our office is run by dedicated volunteers. Mail your tax-deductible donation to Birthright at 38 East Gordon Street, Bel Air Maryland 21014. Please call for additional information on planned giving.
Material Assistance
The materials listed are always in demand:
- Baby clothes up to size 24 months, new or gently used
- Maternity Clothes, new or gently used
- Diapers, all sizes but especially 3, 4, & 5
- Baby wipes
- Baby wash and shampoo
- Formula
- Baby food
- Layette items
Office Volunteer
To volunteer we ask that you give four hours during the day or two hours in the evening, one day a week. Volunteers are trained to answer the phone and assist clients at the office. The only qualification needed is a heart willing to love unconditionally. If you are interested in volunteering to help women in need, call the office at 410-838-0443.
Prayers
Above all, we need prayer. Prayer that we continue to walk in God's will. That we always put God on display through our words and actions. Prayers that those in need may hear about Birthright and contact us for support and help.
